Year

2020

I traveled to Australia and swiftly stepped into a marketing coordinator role in Thirroul, NSW. Leveraging my background in video, social media, and photography from promoting myself as a snowboarder, I significantly boosted the business’s online presence within a year.

Strategy

Role

In my role as a marketing coordinator, I focused on making our surf camp shine on social media. Working closely with our team photographer and athletes, we created posts to engage our 2,500 followers. Our goal was simple: show off the surf lifestyle and what makes our camp special. We used great photos and stories to get people excited and involved. This strategy helped us connect better with our current followers and drew in new ones who wanted to join the fun.

Audience

Australian Surf Tours catered to a diverse range of clients, and to reach out to young travelers, we frequently visited various institutions in Sydney to promote our weekend surf camp program. I focused on developing tailored products that would appeal to these clients’ preferences and interests.

Videos

Australian Surf Tours attracted a wide array of clients, including young travelers, by actively engaging with institutions in Sydney and promoting our weekend surf camp program. A key component of our marketing strategy was the use of videos, which I personally created and edited, to showcase the stunning location of our camp and the exhilarating experiences we offered. These videos not only served as powerful tools for attracting new clients but also effectively conveyed the beauty and excitement of our surf camp, enhancing our appeal to potential customers.
